Flavor Shake®︎ (fragrance production) requires reservations.
We have advance reservations and same-day reservations.
The reservation method differs for each store, so please check the store you plan to visit.

If you are late, whether or not you will be able to make the item will depend on how crowded the store is at the time you arrive.

We will do our best to make your visit as comfortable as possible.

The number of attendants is limited to one person, regardless of the number of people involved.

Depending on how crowded the store is at the time of your visit, you may be able to bring multiple companions into the store, but please note that this will depend on the situation on the day.

If there is a cancellation, it will be reflected on the reservation page at any time, so please check there.

“Flavor Shake®︎” Questions regarding scent production

Questions regarding the scent of “Flavor Shake®︎”

THE FLAVOR DESIGN®︎ was established as the first store in Japan where you can create fabric mist with your favorite scent.
We call our unique service “Flavor Shake®︎”, in which we create and provide fabric mist with your favorite scent one by one in front of our customers.

At “Flavor Shake®︎” you can enjoy making “fabric mist”.

THE FLAVOR DESIGN®︎ has not produced “perfume for use on the skin” since its opening.

The word “perfume” originally meant “scented water.”
“Perfume used on the scalp,” “fabric mist,” “eau de toilette,” and “eau de cologne” all fall under the category of “perfume.”
The difference between these is the content of ingredients and fragrances, which are classified by each company.

Many customers refer to our products as “perfume” on social media, so those who view our products may be confused about the difference between “perfume for the scalp” and “fabric mist.”

“Perfume used on the scalp,” “fabric mist,” “eau de toilette,” and “eau de cologne” all fall under the category of “perfume,” so the customer’s description on SNS is not incorrect, but THE FLAVOR DESIGN®’s “Flavor Shake®︎” only produces “Fabric Mist.”

In addition, “Flavor Shake®︎” uses high-grade raw materials, so we provide “fabric mist” with a scent comparable to “perfume”.

At “Flavor Shake®︎”, you can make “fabric mist”.
“Fabric Mist” is a product exclusively for cloth products.
Although it is not meant to be applied directly to your skin, you can apply it to your clothes to create a scent similar to perfume.

*Please note that standard products such as diffusers and candles “Fragrance Shake®︎” cannot be produced individually.

・As a part of fashion
Please use by spraying on clothing.
You can wear the scent all over your body and enjoy it as a fashion item.
Spray a few pumps on tops, bottoms, outerwear, etc.
You can freely adjust the scent by changing where you apply it and how many times you push it.

・For scenting the room
Enjoy the scent as a room fragrance by spraying it on fabrics such as bed linens, curtains, and sofas.
*If you have small children, do not use the product in areas where you often spend time or within their reach. Also, if you live with a pet, do not use it near the pet’s face or in areas where it often spends time. You may accidentally lick it or the strong scent may cause stress.

・For fragrance inside the car
You can use it by spraying it on car seats and covers.
*Please do not store the fabric mist in your car. The scent may deteriorate or boil over due to temperature changes inside the car.

・For scenting small items
It can also be used for small cloth items such as towels, handkerchiefs, hats and bags.
Paper such as letters and message cards can also be scented.

*Cannot be used on silk, leather, synthetic leather, or wallpaper.
*If applied in large quantities at close range, it may rarely cause stains. When using for the first time, please try a small amount on an inconspicuous area of ​​the fabric.

Fabric mist made with “Flavor Shake®︎” has a scent that lasts for about 4 hours.
Think of it as similar to eau de toilette.
The scent will vary depending on the amount sprayed and the environment such as temperature, room temperature, humidity, etc., so this is an approximate duration.
If you have a high body temperature or sweat easily, adding scent to your clothes will allow you to enjoy the scent without being affected by your body temperature or sweat.

We recommend using it within one year.
There is no expiration date, but all fragrances oxidize over time and their scent changes, so we recommend using them within one year.
Please note that if the product has been used for a long time, the condition of the contents may change and stains may occur when used on clothing.

I don’t know how to choose a fragrance, I’m worried that it will smell strange
Fragrance preferences are very subjective, so there is no set way to choose one.
Whether you are a first-time user of perfumes or a frequent user of fragrances, please choose the one you like based on your intuition, senses, and sensibilities.
If you choose your favorite scent, please rest assured that there will be no strange scent.

I have a wide range of favorite scents and can’t decide
If you are the type of person who doesn’t like or dislike scents and can enjoy a variety of scents, this may be a problem.
If there are too many and you can’t narrow it down,
・Scenes where scent is used (for work, bedroom, etc.)
・Seasonal sense
・Is the emphasis on freshness or sweetness?
It will be easier to choose if you imagine a rough frame such as.
If you smell it over and over again, your sense of smell will get tired, so when in doubt, take a break and choose based on the scent and image that you thought was good at first.

Tester didn’t have a favorite scent
We are very sorry that we did not meet your expectations.
As it is a made-to-order product, we cannot accept cancellations after “Flavor Shake®︎” has started, so if by any chance you do not find the scent you like, please let us know of your cancellation before “Flavor Shake®︎” starts.
The scent of the tester changes depending on the season, so please come again if you have a chance.

When choosing a scent from the tester, I want to know what scent is in it
“Flavor Shake®︎”The most important factor is each customer’s sensitivity and intuition. .
For this reason, we refrain from verbalizing the content of the scent.
This is to prevent the image of a fragrance from changing, being guided, or fixed by the impression of words.
We will explain this once production begins, so please feel free to ask our staff.
*Regular scents are available for purchase online, so please refer to the product description section of the website.

The types of fragrances available vary by store.
The standard product “Fragrance Shake®︎” (No.1.4.10.11.26.33.35.63.108.109.111.115.145.151.162) Available at all stores. Please note that if a fragrance ingredient is out of stock, it may not be available until it is restocked.
Items other than standard products “Fragrance Shake®︎” are subject to constant change due to seasonal changes at each store and arrival of new products. Masu.
At each store, the number of testers you can try in-store is around 20 to 25.

I want to create a scent that resembles the commercial products I have on hand
I am very sorry.
We do not allow our staff to smell your own scent and create a product that resembles it.
This applies to all scented products.
Each product is a product of its brand/company, so we do not accept any copying or use of it as we respect manufacturing.
We apologize for denying your request.
Please note that customers are welcome to bring their own personal items to use as reference when choosing a fragrance from the testers.

Questions regarding “Flavor Shake®︎” production service

The price does not change depending on the type or number of oils used.
*Prices may change only for limited edition products and events.

The average time is approximately 30-40 minutes.
There are individual differences as customers often choose their own options.
Please arrive with plenty of time in your schedule for the day.

I want to color the liquid inside a transparent bottle.
You can choose your favorite color from the color samples in the store.
Please inform the staff at the time of production.
*Some oils are originally colored.
(ex: No.35/yellow, No.134/Red)
In that case, the original color of the oil will develop, so you cannot change the color of the liquid.
Please be aware of the color of the oil itself, or consider purchasing a brown bottle with no see-through color.
*The color is applied in a light color to prevent color transfer or staining.
*It is not possible to darken the color of the liquid.
*In the unlikely event that you spray or spill a lot at close range and the color transfers, you can remove some of the color stain by washing it immediately.
*Depending on the type of fabric, please be careful when using.

Bottle color
All stores have two colors available: brown and clear.
*White may appear for a limited time or at an event.

Cap color
All stores have two colors available: gold and silver.
*Black will be sold for a limited time, event only, and collaboration products only.
*Please note that we are unable to provide information on sales dates for limited edition colors.

The fabric mist that can be produced with “Flavor Shake®︎” is only 100ml size.

For smaller sizes, 30ml size atomizers (¥1,100 tax included) are available separately.
Standard products “Fragrance Shake®︎” fabric mist (100ml) and “Flavor Shake®︎”Please refill the fabric mist (100ml) into an atomizer.
This convenient and cute atomizer is perfect for going out and traveling.
Handling: Over-the-counter sales only

We will complete by putting an original label on the bottle which contains your scent.
It may be difficult to consider the names in outright, so we recommend considering the name before coming to the shop.

Questions regarding product take-home and delivery

We believe that many people use airplanes to take products purchased in stores out of Japan.
Please see below for some items that cannot be taken home by plane.

Please note that you will be responsible for shipping the item yourself.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are unable to provide information on the amount of ingredients.
For both regular fabric mist and fabric mist produced by Flavor Shake, the amount of ingredients varies depending on the combination of fragrances used, so we are unable to provide you with the exact amount of ingredients.

Questions regarding returns and exchanges

“Flavor Shake®︎” is an order for one customer, so production has begun. Cancellations cannot be made later.
Customers can choose their favorite scents from 2 to 3 testers out of about 20 types.
We will check the scent several times while changing the combination of the selected scent, and proceed with production.
Our staff will assist you in creating the product while listening to your preferences to achieve the balance you desire.
Since we manufacture products according to customer requests, we cannot accept requests to refuse purchase after production has begun.
If you are not sure which scent is best when choosing a scent, please feel free to ask our staff.

I chose a brown bottle, but I still want to change to a clear one
We are unable to accommodate changes after production has begun. Please consider this before production.

I chose a gold cap, but I still want to change to a silver cap
We are unable to accommodate changes after production has begun. Please consider this before production.
The cap can be purchased separately in case it deteriorates over time.
In the unlikely event that you must change the color of the cap after production has begun, you can purchase it separately for ¥330 (tax included).

I want to change the label name
After the label is completed: Cannot be changed
We will create a label with the characters and spelling you specified on the card.
Please be sure to check that there are no errors in your entry.

If the label you created is incorrect: We will change it.
We ask our customers to check the labels we have created for any input errors on our side.
If we find any errors, we will correct them immediately.

We cannot accept returns or exchanges for items that have been soiled or damaged by the customer or another customer.
You are free to take photos both inside and outside the store, but please be careful when handling the products.

Please note that we cannot remake or adjust the product once it is completed.
“Flavor Shake®︎”The creation of the fragrance is up to the customer. We make several prototypes using different scents, ask customers to find the balance they like, and then take home the final product.
Since we manufacture products according to the customer’s requests, we cannot accept requests for refusal of purchase, returns, exchanges, or additional adjustments after production is completed if you do not like the product after mixing it or it is different from the image you imagined.

In case of initial failure within one week of purchase
